Bomet politics have become interesting especially after the visit by deputy president. According to recently conducted polls by popular African firm, the current sitting governor Prof Hilary Barchok is ahead of the former boss Isaac Ruto. 
In a post uploaded by Emoo FM on its Facebook page, if elections are held today, the current county head will garner the most votes and triumph over the Chama Cha Mashinani party leader. He is likely to lead with 42% while being followed closely by Isaac with 40%. Following the deputy President's visit to south rift region, it was evident that the region's politics is of great interest. This is because the United Democratic Alliance is expected to field its candidate to vie for the gubernatorial seat. The deputy President's party will nominate candidate will battle out with honourable Isaac. As days nears to election, the gap between the two tough leaders is closing.
