Narc Kenya Kenya Parry Leader Martha Karua has threatened stern action against President William Ruto should his government disrupt and unlawfully arm Azimio la Umoja supporters during Monday's demonstrations.
Speaking to Kiambu residents on Friday during their Azimio rally, Karua warned Ruto against any attempts to use force to disrupt their mass action rally on Monday.
While reminding Ruto of the Hague-based court ICC, Karua dared Ruto saying they are watching him closely and could risk being taken back, should any of Azimio's supporters lose their lives due to police brutality on Monday.
She also warned police officers against attempts to be misused by the state to disrupt their demonstrations, claiming they are also fighting for their welfare.
"I want to remind Ruto that if he will use police to maim and kill our people, Hague and ICC is still waiting for you. And to our police officers, you are buying Unga at the same price as these other Kenyans. You have fees, and health cover problems, kindly allow us to speak on your behalf. Help demonstrators and do not mistreat them. For those who have been paid to come and disrupt our protests, kindly eat that money and come join us," stated Karua
On his part, Rala criticized Ruto's administration, claiming it had failed Kenyans and hustlers despite all the promises he made during campaigns.
In particular, Ruto questioned Ruto's list of CASs nominated on Thursday, asking whether mama mbogas and real hustlers were nominated
"Ruto nominated his CASs yesterday but I want to ask you a question, Did you see hustlers or mama mbogas in that list? wachinga waliiha Kenya
