The Kikuyu member of parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwa speaks after his close allies and other members of parliament claimed that he's acting arrogant and untouchable after he was given majority leader position in the national assembly. However he has refuted the claims as he also reveals what to expect from the national assembly and senate for the remaining period of time.
According to the reliable source from the nation during an interview the majority leader has revealed that it has not been an easy journey for the period he has been on the seat as he says that it demands alot of time since the members of parliament have high expectations from him and his team. However he has responded that for him he's ready to serve everyone equally without checking on who is not on his side since they have to deliver to the people of Kenya.
Adding to that the vocal legislator has revealed that he's not arrogant and those making such claims don't know the kind of a person he is, adding that he's a down to earth person, accessible to all right from his constituents, colleagues and the staff in parliament. He further mentioned that he consults all not because of the position he holds but he believes it's the right thing to do as a leader. "I Know am sober and ready to listen and serve. It is the same attitude I have been known with that I have brought in this house." He added.
In addition to that he has revealed that they will execute their mandates as instructed by the constitution of kenya and their previous legal war with senate might continue but it a good way since both of them stand to be corrected legally by the courts.
