ODM Party leader Raila Amolo Odinga on Sunday toured Nyeri County in the company of his key lieutenants from the vote-rich Mount Kenya region. The former Prime Minister was set to tour Laikipia and Kirinyaga counties on Monday.

The Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate was expected to hold a consultative meeting with aspirants and leaders and then hold mega rally in Nanyuki town.
But as the former Prime Minister is set to invade this Region that is highly believed to be a stronghold of Deputy President William Samoei Ruto, speculations have emerged on a notable political figure who could join his camp.

It is Speculated that Laikipia Women Representative Catherine Waruguru may be among the top leaders from the county who may host the ODM party leader.
After failing to clinch the UDA party parliamentary ticket for Laikipia East constituency, Waruguru's relationship with the party and Deputy President have seemingly turned coarsy with many guessing that she may find a new political homage in the Azimio-OKA outfit.
