The gap between the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance and the Kenya Kwanza Alliance continues to widen as political leaders change their tunes after the August general election.

Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula on Saturday, the 3rd of December joins the Ford Kenya Party in Bungoma for a political rally ahead of the upcoming Senatorial by-elections.

The Bungoma senatorial seat fell vacant after Moses Wetangula was elected to serve as the speaker of the National Assembly. Accordingly, Wetangula consolidates to be succeeded by a leader from his Party. Similarly, the United Democratic Alliance and the Azimio la Umoja-Democratic Action Party of Kenya fielded their candidates.

To the reports, Ford Kenya reaps big as Moses Wetangula receives Kelly Walubengo of the Azimio-allied United Democratic Party.

"Omwami Kelly Walubengo is a vibrant young focused leader who has chosen the correct path in politics. We warmly welcome him to the Lion’s Party with open arms and tell him to feel at home in the big family of Ford Kenya," he remarked.
