It has emerged that allies of the president are after seeing the Jubilee party Secretary General Raphael Tuju out of the party.
He has come out clean noting that those who want him ejected are after the millions of money that will be gained from the nomination money.
"The Mps think having control of the party machinery will secure tickets. The noise comes with the territory. There are substantial resources. They think being at the helm gives one control over the resources," the CS without portfolio said.
It has emerged that the Members of Parliament allied to the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta are so determined to have Raphael Tuju go to an extent that they have written to the president.
They have allegedly asked him to save the party from the current leadership of Raphael Tuju and also the vice chairperson David Murathe.
Their clamour for change came after the party lost to Ruto's UDA party in the Kiambaa by-election.
“We have noticed that our party has some weaknesses. Those spoiling our good name and those known to use insults, let them know that we will soon begin operation fagia jubilee,” one of the Members of Parliament was heard saying.
