Kabogo Warned, Told He Might Harm Kenya Kwanza After His Remarks Over Power Deal

Mount Kenya parties allied to Deputy President William Ruto feels neglected in the Kenya Kwanza power sharing deal where ANC and Ford Kenya emerged major winners. It is reported that the small parties in Kenya Kwanza are unhappy after the power deal offered Mudavadi and Wetang’ula 30 percent of the government on top of major Executive seats. William Kabogo of Tujibebe Party had even lamented that the deal which Kenya Kwanza Alliance submitted to Register of Political Parties was different from what they had agreed on.

However UDA Secretary for Legal Affairs Edward Muriu warned Kabogo over his remarks against Kenya Kwanza power sharing deal. Edward Muriu also dismissed claims that Mount Kenya region had been shortchanged.

A Kenya Kwanza leader who did not wish to be named said that William Kabogo could cause harm to Kenya Kwanza following his remarks concerning the Kenya Kwanza power sharing deal. The leader also stated that they were aware Azimio had begun becoming popular in Mt Kenya. The leader noted that Azimio had a plot to come up with a new strategy to counter popularity of DP Ruto's camp in Mt Kenya. He noted that Kabogo's remarks could be used against the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
