Barely a day after concluding their meeting with the One Kenya Alliance coalition chiefs, the Mount Kenya region foundation has put to the public limelight their 2022 Endgame, Sends the following Stern warning to deputy president Dr. William Ruto and the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amollo Odinga.
Speaking to the STANDARD media today after the meeting, Mt Kenya region foundation chairman Mr. Ibu revealed that their role in the upcoming General election in 2022 will be to ensure that the Mount Kenya region remains united as before despite not having their presidential candidate.
According to Mr. Ibu, politicians eyeing the top seat are trying hard to divide the region by staging class war, something he has warned may not succeed. Mr. Ibu has warned that the region stands to lose if they listen to the politicians staging the class wars.
"Politicians will have nothing to lose if the region is divided, however as Kikuyus we will lose so much if we allow them to divide us into Kieleweke and tanga tanga factions. And that's where we come in as Mt Kenya Foundation to ensure that our decades of unity don't turn into nothing, "Mr. Ibu Pointed out.
