Sakaja urges court to dismiss case filed over his candidature

UDA Nairobi gubernatorial candidate, Johnson Sakaja, to know his fate on Friday, when the court makes a ruling on the dispute surrounding his academic qualifications.

In his submission Sakaja dismissed the petitioner as a hired detractor out to derail his ambition.

Sakaja asked the court not admit the latest Letter by the commission on University education to IEBC as evidence, revoking recognition of his degree certificate.

Leaders says, lordship letters as submitted by Melanie Senior Mr. Yamudi were not before the IEBC dispute resolution committee and insisted this was not the platform to introduce new evidence, therefore they would not stand.

As quoted by leaders, according to the decision dated 19th June 2022 , the petitioners in their own pleadings and parties are bound by strictly bound by clippings and they have not sought to in any way vary or set aside the decision by the 2nd respondent.

Sakaja's ambition to be in a gubernatorial race is now to an end, and he won't be in the ballot paper come August 9th, or do you think the ruling on Friday by court will favour him? Channel your views, like, share and comment.
