
His Excellency the Siaya County Governor James Orengo has on Saturday morning welcomed His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto to Siaya County.
In a brief statement, he noted that the Head of State was welcome to the lakeside county saying that it is the land of endless possibilities.
This is hours before the president arrives from Kisumu where he will be spending part of his Saturday morning before proceeding to Siaya County.

As this happens, it has emerged that the Nyanza region kingpin and the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga has urged his allies to welcome His Excellency the Head of State and his delegation.
In a top meeting with politicians from the Nyanza region counties in Nairobi, Mr Odinga advised them to embrace the Head of State during his visit for the sake of development.
