BBC Sparks Uproar After Writing The Following Title Regarding Mwai Kibaki's Death

A myriad number of local and cherished world high profile media houses covered the saddening and heartbreaking news of the unfortunate demise of statesman and third president of the Republic of Kenya, the Late Mwai Kibaki.

London Based TV station British Broadcasting Corporation, popularly known as BBC sparked mixed reactions on the Twitter social media platform concerning the manner in which it reported to the world Mwai Kibaki's death.

Netizens raised concerns on BBC's title on Mwai Kibaki's death, with a myriad of them divulging that the wording seemed to demean the renowned statesman.

BBC wrote. "Mwai Kibaki: Kenya's first opposition president dies aged 90". Netizens articulated that a better wording other that "opposition president" would have suitably fitted into the tittle with some proposing that the renowned media house could have used a wording like "Kenya's third president".
