The deputy president William Ruto while addressing the residents of kilifi has slammed the orange Democratic party leader,Raila Amolo Odinga for being desperate ahead of 2022 general election. Today marks the second day the deputy is in the region to inspect government projects initiated by CDF. He told Raila to stop using Uhuru kenyatta to use backdoor for endorsement.
The deputy president has dismissed those saying Hustler narrative will divided kenyans. Instead,he told the Kilifi residents that the ideology is a win-win situation where ,a common mwananchi will benefit not the few individuals at the expense of millions of Kenyans.
The Ruto's popularity in the coastal region has increased of late. The elected leaders from the region such as Aisha Jumwa, Mohamed Ali have vowed to support the deputy presidential bid .The region have embraced Rutos ideaology of Hustler narrative something that has caused panick on the side of opposition leaders.
The building bridges initiative will be abig test for Ruto as he prepare to vie for presidential seat in 2022. He has openly dismissed the idea of ammending the Constitution. He says the government has lacked prioritise at the moment. He has blamed the former Prime Minister as the main reason Jubilee government has failed to deliver it's promises to the people.
