Renowned political analyst Edward Kisiang'ani has now thrown cold water at Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Raila Odinga's latest political meeting.
In a move to get the Mt Kenya votes, the former Prime Minister met renowned businessmen from the vote rich mountain region on Tuesday.
The businessmen under the Mt Kenya foundation endorsed Raila Odinga for the much anticipated 2022 presidential elections.
However, Edward Kisiang'ani has now delivered bad news to Raila Odinga camp despite the endorsement from the businessmen who are mainly billionaires.
According to the analyst, the tycoons will not deliver votes for the hopeful ODM flag bearer candidate.
Kisiang'ani insisted that the tycoons cannot even convince their employees to support the Raila presidency hence the ODM supporters should 'not expect much' from the Mt Kenya region.
''Raila Odinga is perfectly in order to seek endorsement from rhe Mt Kenya tycoons for 2022. The only challenge these tycoons cannot even convince their employees to vote for RAO. There aren't enough votes in Runda and Muthaiga to make one President!''posed Edward Kisiang'ani.
The meeting by Raila Odinga with the tycoons has elicited mixed reactions from both political divides.
Raila Odinga will battle out for the top country job with Deputy President William Ruto, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi and other candidates who have declared presidential ambitions.
