Fresh Details of UDA Candidate Attack In Kirinyaga County During Rigathi Gachagua's Event

Prepare to go home - <a class=Gachagua tells Governor Lee"/>Fresh details have emerged concerning the alleged chaos that erupted in Kirinyaga county during the county forum event that was led by Kenya Kwanza running mate Rigathi Gachagua. This is after hired goons allegedly ejected United Democratic Alliance member of county assembly candidate Caroline Muriithi from the event at Kimiigua Youth Polytechnic.

This led to arise of Drama that unfolded when the Karumandi MCA hopeful as she was roughed as they were leading her out of the forum. All this was happening before Mr Gachagua arrived in the event where Kirinyaga county governor Ann Waiguru and other local leaders were waiting for him to arrive. Waiguru lauds Bottom-up economic forums as she hosts Kenya Kwanza

Ms Murithi however took to condemn the act as she accused them of trying to strip her naked before being rescued by police officers. "They wanted to strip me but I was saved by the law enforcers," she alleged.

She also said that she was standing closely to Governor Waiguru when the goons confronted and attacked her. "They violently got hold of me and started frog-marching me out of the forum as if I was an outsider," she added.

However, she also accused the politicians behind them of tarnishing DP Ruto's name to the people of Kenya and his deputy. "Our national leaders are good people but there are a few UDA local leaders who are spoiling [things] for them for their selfish interests."
