"I Want To Be A Farmer After I Retire," President Uhuru Breaks Silence On His Retirement Plans

Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is the Son of the former first Prime Minister and President of the Republic of Kenya, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. Uhuru Kenyatta first burst into limelight when the former president, the late Mzee Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi fronted him as the KANU presidential candidate during the 2002 general elections.

Uhuru Kenyatta finally became president of the Republic of Kenya during the 2013 general elections winning on a Jubilee Coalition. He partnered with Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto and formed a winning coalition.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is serving his last term as the president. According to the 2010 Kenyan Constitution, one is allowed to serve for a maximum of two terms only. President Uhuru Kenyatta has opened up on his plans after he retires. President Uhuru Kenyatta said that he wants to be a farmer.
