"2022 Tutakuwa na Ruto, "Karua Forced To Come Clean On 'This' Statement Ahead Of The Coming Polls

The National Rainbow Coalition NARC Kenya leader Martha Karua has broken silence after a past clip of her vowing to back Deputy President Dr William Samoei Ruto's 2022 bid emerged.

In a short clip that surfaced online Karua who is a no-nonsense politician is heard promising the second in command that GEMA community would back his 2022 bid so as to reciprocate his unwavering support for President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013 and 2017.

Karua has since joined hands with One Kenya Alliance OKA team ahead of 2022 general elections.

OKA is reportedly on on verge of joining hands with former prime minister Raila Odinga's Azimio la Umoja.

With Karua having signed a deal with OKA It's expected that she will be joining Azimio la Umoja going against her declaration in the clip doing rounds.Karua has responded saying her remarks were made in 2017 and things have since then changed.

"That was 2017 campaigns," Karua reacted.

Here are reactions to her remarks;

"And you said 2022 mtakua pamoja,this is 2022 and the Deputy president is still vying what's your excuse madam...Kalonzo?"

"We don't care that you don't have a stand had alot of respect for you when you were challenging the BBI only for you to turn back and support the same people that were pushing the same agenda"
