The vocal politician who is a close ally to Deputy President William Ruto has posted photos of a section of Nairobi wearing outfits showcasing that she'll be running for the Nairobi seat which is currently held by ODM's Esther Passaris.

Omanga who has been a loyal supporter of the second in command Deputy president William Ruto seems to be the UDA candidate in the woman rep's seat in the capital.

Her aspiration to take over the seat has elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans on social media who a section have welcomed her interest while the other section has rubbised her hopes.

Here are a sample of the reactions as seen on social media;

The current woman rep in Nairobi, Passaris carried the ODM party’s flag for the seat in 2017, making a second stab for a seat she lost to Shebesh in the 2013 General Election on a Kenya National Congress party.

Now it's yet to be known who the contestants of the seat will be with Omanga already declared her candidature.
