For a period of time now, Raila Odinga has been going round the nation campaigning under his Azimio La Umoja drive. According to the former Prime Minister, his Azimio La Umoja drive has been there to unite Kenyans and not to campaign for the 2022 general election.
Although many people have been hinting that Raila Odinga is going to be in the 2022 presidential race and he may win it, Baba himself has never declared his interest in the top seat but on 10th December, he is going to make that big announcement.
Just some few days to that much awaited announcement, the ODM party leader has made a crucial move that may make him more powerful. According to reports, opposition leader has met ODM and Jubilee officials ahead of his Friday conference. Definitely, the Jubilee officials must have received permission from President Uhuru Kenyatta meaning that the Head of State may be behind Baba.
