Wahome said just because Raila’s father was in politics and his brother also held different positions doesn’t mean the country belongs to them.
MP Wahome speaking during a meeting at Deputy President William Ruto’s residence in Karen, Nairobi said Raila has been in politics for long and he should not think he can get any position he wants adding that Kenyans are not stupid.
“Some people think this country belongs to them. It can’t be just because your father was a leader and your brother had something and now Baba had 24 years, Unafikiria Sisi ni Wajinga? (You think we are stupid?” said Wahome.
The lawmaker further said the “Hustler Nation” is behind DP Ruto because he is a good leader who will fulfill his promises to Kenyans.
According to Wahome, leaders and Kenyans supporting the DP have recognized his leadership skills adding that he, Ruto, will put money in hustlers’ pockets so they can improve their lives.
“We know what we want. We know good leadership and we can identify good leaders. We need people who will put governance mechanism in place to take money back to the owners,” said Wahome.
