More Cracks In Azimio As Kanini Kega Urges Mt Kenya To Join DP Gachagua

As more brigades join the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, betrayals continue to loom in former prime minister Raila Odinga's Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance.

Just after Raila Odinga was dumped by former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Kanini Kega breaks his silence. Kega was possibly one of the most important Azimio leaders driving Raila Odinga's agenda in the Mount Kenya region.

Furthermore, it is a significant betrayal in light of the fact that he was just recently elected to the East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) on the platform of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition.According to Kanini Kega, the Mount Kenya region's lone senior leader is Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. He continued by saying that Gachagua is the region's unifying force and that everyone should unite behind him.

Additionally, this occurs a few days after Jeremiah Kioni and a number of other Mount Kenya region leaders from Azimio threatened to oust Raila Odinga.
