Renowned Professor, Makau Mutua has reacted to a viral photo of ANC Party Leader, Musalia Mudavadi and Deputy President, William Ruto showing them laughing while in Bungoma County. The two leaders went on a campaign trail in Sen. Moses Wetangula's home turf as huge crowds of locals attended the event.

The newly found coalition between ANC Party, Ford- Kenya and UDA Party has taken the country by storm. Ruto's supporters are now optimistic they could win this year's Presidential election with the backing of Mudavadi and Wetangula.
Prof. Makau Mutua who is Raila Odinga's key ally has now raised questions on the light moments between Ruto and Mudavadi. According to Prof. Mutua, either Ruto or Mudavadi is laughing at each other. In politics, betrayal is the order of the day and that's why Prof. Makau Mutua is questioning if the laughter between the two leaders is really genuine.
Prof. Makau Mutua's revelation could mean that either Musalia Mudavadi is planning to betray Deputy President, Dr. William Ruto the other way. News sources have alleged that Mudavadi was promised a senior position in the Government if Ruto wins this year's election.
