National Police Service Statement Concerning Azimio Party Rally on Wednesday 7, 2022 at Kamukunji.

The National police service have issued a statement regarding the Planned political rally by the Azimio party which is scheduled to be held on December 12, 2022 at Kamukunji Ground, Nairobi.

According to the constitution of Kenya 2010 under Article 37 which stated that every person has a right to peaceful gathering, demonstration and picketing, the National police service state that they will provide enough security to all the people attending the rally as the constitution under article 33state that everyone has right to exercise freedom of expression.

They however caution the members who will attend the meeting to maintain law and order as any cross misconduct that will breach the peace shall be dealt with in accordance with the law.

The Azimio party leaders alongside their supporters to hold different political rallies before commencing their main rally at Kamukunji Ground to voice their concerns regarding the current administration under president Ruto.
