The speaker of Senate HE Amason Kingi has sets on Tuesday 20th December, 2022 for the hearing of governor Kawira Mwangaza's Impeachment verdict days after Meru MCAs Impeached over claims breaking the county constitution.
"On Tuesday 20th December, 2022, The Senate will have a special sitting in the Chamber as from 2.30pm to hear the charges against Hon Kawira Mwangaza, the Governor of Meru, as filed by the County Assembly of Meru". Said HE Amason Kingi the Speaker of Senate.
Both president William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua did their best to stop the Impeachment of Kawira Mwangaza but they could not help her. A section of Kenyans are alleging that some unnamed political leaders in Meru County after doing everything possible to remove so that they can have a new election.
It's now a matter of wait and see what happens in the coming days if the Senate will affirm her Impeachment or not.
