The young boy who was among the top 10 performing candidates nationally has now a reason to smile after getting a promised of scholarship from the Nandi County Hon Stephen Sang. This happened after the social media users highlighted his humble background and the plight his family is passing through.
Abiud Kipkirui's father touched the hearts of kenyans when he narrated about how he is always struggles to meet the basic of his family. He therefore said he is not in a position to take his son to secondary School. However, despite all that challenges the boy from Kaben village, beat the odds and scored 430 marks in public school.
Perhaps, kenyans joined hands at social media to congratulate the boy for his brilliant performance. They also thanked Governor sang for chipping in at the right to assist the young boy academically.
