The entire leadership of Kenya Kwanza coalition led by William Samoei Arap Ruto is currently in Homabay on an official visit. The deputy president accompanied him where he revealed that their main agenda is to help the economy recover from the effects of covid 19.
He was addressing the residents of Homabay at the shores of lake Victoria where he spotted two fishermen selling fish. The two were lifting the fish with the aim of getting the attention of the deputy president who was addressing them.
Rigathi Gachagua immediately noted that they were trying to get his attention and immediately bought the fish for one hundred thousand shillings. Rigathi highlighted that this was meant to help the two people promote their fishing business and change their economic status. He was keen to note that the money would be paid by their assistants once they hand over the fish to them.
