As we the country inches near the 2022 general elections, political leaders are looking for the political vehicle they feel comfortable in, and which will guarantee them a safe landing after the elections.
Despite few delegates of the Ford Kenya claiming that the One Kenya Alliance is illegal since they were not consulted, the principals have welcomed Kadu Asili, a Coastal based party, and promised to work together ahead of the polls.
One of the party officials stated that they have done thorough investigations and consultations before making the decision to join OKA, adding that they feel the needs and interests of the Coastal region will be taken care of in the alliance.
Welcoming the party, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi said that the officials made the right decision in trusting their future with the alliance, an assured them that the future will be bright.
"As we approach the next election ask yourselves which leaders you trust with the leadership of this county. The OKA offers that platform," said Mudavadi.
Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka also welcomed them and urged any interested parties from the Region to join hands with OKA.
