“Don’t Take Politics to Court” Aukot Warns Raila to Go to Supreme Court with Concrete Evidence

Ekuru Aukot has told Raila to think hard before going to Supreme Court to challenge the election of DP William Ruto. Aukot says that politics cannot win in the courts but concrete evidence that can be defended. He notes that going to court will only make things worse for Raila if he is not armed with enough evidence that will overturn things. Even though Raila himself has not spoken about going to court, Kenyans are guessing that the courts will be the only place where he may get the decision made by IEBC overturned.

“I would like to warn Raila not to take politics to Supreme Court. This is because the court will not decide based on politics but legal issues that must be supported by evidence,” Aukot said.

Raila is only left with Supreme Court to save him from the announcement which was made by IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati. Kenyans are waiting to hear from the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya leader Raila Odinga to give a direction to his supporters. What many Kenyans do not know is whether Raila will move to court or not.
