The 2022 general election is two years away and different candidates have continued to express their interest in taking over from President Kenyatta when his term Finally comes to an end. 

Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga have been mentioned as the most likely candidates to take over from President Kenyatta. The two have now been joined by Former finance minister Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi. 

The Former UN employee has quit his job to return back to the country to offer his leadership solutions to Kenyans. The Veteran politician jetted back into the country and immediately had an Interview with KTN news channels. 

According to Mukhisa Kituyi, his candidature presents a different direction Kenyans. Kituyi also revealed details of a secret meeting with President Kibaki in 2001. According to Kituyi, Kibaki took him to his home and handpicked him as a future president by Giving him four heifers as a sign of the passage of the leadership mantle. 

One of the heifers gave birth the same day President Kibaki was announced the winner.
