Bungoma town was brought at a stand still during the visit of the Deputy President William Ruto, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi. This is the first time the Deputy President who is also the leader of UDA is visiting the region with the two leaders after they formed an alliance.
Western region has been supporting Hon. Raila Odinga for a longtime, this is also the first time the county is divided, some are supporting the ODM leader while others are supporting the new alliance.
This time round the supremacy of whoever will win the western region will depends on who shall give the best solution to the regions problem. It seems most of the residents are no longer interested in the political parties but they are interested in whoever shall address their problems.
The crowd that was witnessed today at Posta grounds in Bungoma was amazing. None of the leaders had expected it to be that way. Infact the ground seemed to be small.
As the leaders moved in the area addressing the people, it was so peaceful. Residents were so happy and received them with joy. This was recommendable. Even the leaders themselves were very happy.
