During his tour outside the country, the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance Raila Amolo Odinga made a stop in Kampala Uganda. The Kenyan leader visited Mr Museveni in his Entebbe’s residence. The meeting is seen as that which was used to discuss a number of issues that are affecting the two countries in Africa. Political commentators and observers around the country see the move by Odinga as that which is seeking the endorse of Museveni as he heads into the elections on August 9th.
Mr Museveni took to his twitter handle to share the pictures of their meeting saying that he had received Raila who had visited him at Entebbe State House. Museveni said that he welcomed Raila and they discussed a number of issues concerning Uganda and Kenya.
“I received Raila Odinga who paid me a courtesy call at State House Entebbe this evening. We discussed a wide range of issues concerning our two countries (Kenya and Uganda). I welcome him,” Museveni said.
A section of Kenyans has reacted to Raila visit asking Museveni to take good care of Raila as he continues his visit in Uganda.
