There was drama at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, JKIA after 16 Kericho Members of County Assembly were blocked from leaving the country to Dubai as their names are revealed.

The sixteen MCAs include Paul Bii, Philip Mutai, Cheruiyot Bett, Gladys Chesang, Monica Chelangat, David Maritim, Sigilai Temindet, Moses Rotich, Vincent Korir, Mathew Korir, Albert Kipkoech, Naaman Rop, Simon Koskei, Anthony Ruto, Hezron Ngetich and Paul Chirchir.
This comes only few days after President William Ruto called out the the MCAs over their recent fight over leadership positions in the Assembly.
Kericho County Governor Erick Mutai while speaking to Citizen TV today said that all is not lost in the Kericho County assembly while saying that they will engage the MCAs to solidify the county leadership
"We will try to build a roundtable discussion to move forward and solidify our leadership." Erick Mutai had said.
