The second month of the year has passed since the current president succeeded the late president Uhuru Kenyatta in office.
As is well knowledge, many people attempted to apply for the positions in the William Ruto-led administration, and although some were successful, others were not. Rigathi Gachagua, a Kenya Kwanza vice presidential candidate, had earlier stated that he was only giving preference to individuals who had enrolled when the party was still affiliated with the United Democratic Alliance.
Benjamin Tayari, a former Kinango MP, Michael Kingi, Patrick Mariru, Sylvanus Maritim, Lemein, a former Magarini MP, and many others were among those who competed for various positions but were unsuccessful.
Wilson Sossion, the previous chairperson of the KNUT, too tried to break into the education industry but was unsuccessful.
