Deputy President William Ruto, who is running for president as a member of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and is holding an economic summit in Kiambu County today before releasing his manifesto tomorrow, has made a promise to Kenyans that has elicited a range of responses.
During the meeting, Deputy President William Ruto assured Kenyans that if he is elected to lead the next government, they will not need to purchase airtime to make phone calls or access the internet.
In response, Kenyans have demonstrated that this is a blatant lie by questioning how the government could have made such a promise. Kenyans have expressed concern about how the government will function.
Today, DP William Samoi Ruto was summoned to the Kenyan's home. Kenyans told him that if he is elected as the next president of Kenya, they will ensure that everyone can make free phone calls without using any funds.It will be better for all Kenyans.
