On Friday, the leaders met at the Windsor Hotel in the bid to look for strategies to revive the party and counter Ruto's influence in the region.
Speaking with the Standard on Sunday, Nyeri Town Member of Parliamnet Ngunjiri Wabugu warned the Jubilee party leadership that if the measures laid in lace on Friday are not enacted as soon as possible, Ruto's influence will eat in the 50 per cent of the Kieleweke wing in the region.
He added that for the to be on the safe side, they needed to move with haste and ensure they catch up with UDA and Ruto allies, lest they will be 'displaced' from their own backyard.
A number of political experts have argued that the DP currently enjoys massive support from the region, but this might not be a guarantee come 2022.
