Sicily Kariuki is one of the powerful and most famous individuals in the republic of Kenya. She is the outgoing cabinet secretary for water and sanitation. Now, today, hon Kariuki has come out to send a message to the incoming cabinet secretaries on what they are expected and what they are not expected to do as a cabinet secretary.
Talking during an interview with Citizen TV, hon Kariuki told the incoming ministers that the cabinet will not be a place where they will be sitting to wait their boss to tell them what to do. Instead, Mrs Kariuki said that the new ministers will be expected to advise the president and his deputy on what to do. According to her, the ministers are the one who knows what should be done and that is why they will be the one to advise the president.
"The son of a police commander has died after reportedly shooting himself at his parent's home in Chereni area, off Kangundo Road, in Nairobi. Reports indicate that North Eastern Deputy Regional Police Commander Patrick King'ori had left his pistol on the couch when his 13-year-old son allegedly took it." Said the reports.
