President William Ruto is set to take over from Former President Uhuru Kenyatta the patronage of the Kenya Scouts Association, KSA.
The Kenya Scouts Annual General Meeting, which is currently ongoing at the Rowland National Scouts Camp Grounds in Nairobi, will formally pass a Declaration of Commencement of Patronage Transfer, from former President Uhuru Kenyatta to the current Head of State, President William Ruto.

The event is being led by Chief Scout Professor Jacob Kaimenyi and has attracted delegates from the 47 Counties represented by six officials.
It is revealed that the event will be hosting 3000 international guests with a total of 5000 scouts at the event.
While speaking on the handover, Kaimenyi noted that they will be privileged to have a fatherly patron.

"Now that there has been a change of guard, our patron is none other than President Ruto and we are very privileged and honored to have a very fatherly patron," Prof. Kaimenyi said.
