The race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta who wull be retiring after two successful terms as head of State is gaining momentum as the countdown to the polls take shape.
While in Ruai, President Uhuru told off critics over attacks aimed at him and the Azimio brigade ahead of the August 9th general elections.
In his remarks, Uhuru stated that he is going nowhere and he is there to stay and will not go home as critics call of him to.
He stated that he is there to stay since there are still a lot of projects to launch, roads to launch and many other projects which he intends to do before heading into retirement.
"Ati wananiambia nimalize niende. Kwani wanafikiria nimalize niende wapi? I am here to stay. Mimi nitafanya kazi yangu hadi dakika ya mwisho," President Uhuru Kenyatta said.
