In the last two general elections, Deputy President William Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta worked together. During that time, many people believed that President Uhuru Kenyatta would end up endorsing DP William Ruto once he finishes his two terms but at the moment, it is very clear that Ruto and Uhuru's political relationship ended a long time ago.
For a period of time, DP William Ruto and his allies have been claiming that it is Raila Odinga who is a state project thus hinting that Uhuru may end up endorsing Baba. In the midst of all that, Professor Makau Mutua has left Kenyans talking after he publicly told them why DP William Ruto calls his competitors state projects.
Through his official twitter account, Makau Mutua stated that Ruto does that because he was dumped by President Uhuru Kenyatta and due to his frustrations, he now calls his opponents state projects.
