Currently in the country, churches have been the podium of many politicians on Sundays. At first, it was only Deputy President William Ruto who was using the church to do his politics but at the moment, many of them joined in including ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
Some few week ago, Raila and other politicians were denied a chance to speak by the ACK church who went ahead to ban all the politicians from speaking in their churches. That was a big blow to Ruto, Raila and other top politicians but today, they were given a reason to smile after one of the ACK Bishops known as Charles Muchene defended them publicly.
According to reports, Bishop Charles Muchene stated that politicians deserve a chance to be heard by the congregants. Charles contradicts the likes of Ole Sapit and others who have been maintaining that politics should be removed out of the church.
