The president Uhuru Kenyatta today landed in Lamu county where he will be heading to Kenya Navy base in Manda bay for presidential and regimental colour presentation. According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the president landed in the county early in the morning where he was received by some government officials from the military forces.
According to the news which was shared on the social media platforms, the leaders who welcomed the president in Lamu county includes defence cabinet secretary Ambassador Monica Juma, Chief of the Kenya defence forces General Robert Kibicho, state spokesperson Cyrus Oguna among other leaders from Lamu county. The president is expected to inspect the military base where Kenya Navy have been training in the whole period of time.
It is now clear that the president is focusing on the military forces so that the country can be safe for tourist to stay. It is now time for Kenyans also to work together with the military forces so that to arrest criminals who break the law. Remember to wear mask and maintain social distance so that we can overcome this deadly disease called covid-19 in our country.
