President William Ruto has kicked off his two-day working tour of Nyanza region as he moves to reassure Kenyans that his government will work with all leaders despite their political affiliations.
He continued with his main agenda of affordable housing programs in the region where he assured the residents that Fishing, infrastructure, mining and agriculture are essential elements of empowerment for Migori County, its economy and the people.
The first in command was accompanied by various high profile leaders from the area these are; Homa Bay governor Gladys wanga, Migori woman representative Fatuma Muhammed, Migori governor Ochilo Ayacko, Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang, Nyando Mp Jared Okello, Awendo Mp Walter Owino and Rongo mp Paul Abuor.
President Ruto further promised to launch several other projects that directly impact the lives of the people and are in line with the government’s bottom-up economic agenda that places a premium on economic transformation, especially for those at the bottom of the economic pyramid.
