The National Assembly Has Approved The Appointment of Lady Justice Koome as Chief Justice

The Kenya national assembly has approved Martha to come to take the Chief Justice chair as the head of the judiciary. This position was left vacant after the retirement of CJ David Maraga.

During today's debate in the parliament. Cj home was praised as one of the experienced lawyers among the candidates who were interviewed by the judicial service commission.

During the debate member of Parliament for igembe Central, Mr. Maore said that the appointment of justice come is a challenge to the Meru community. This is because since independence the people of Meru have never elected a woman in any leadership positions.

The lady justice home has served the nation with dignity, integrity, and distinctions since the time she became the high court judge in 1987. Being a family woman and a mother .lady justice koome has shown her interest in fighting for the rights of women and children

During her interview with the judicial service commission .lady some said that she was ready to restore good relations between the judiciary and executive arm of government which has deteriorated for years.

Kenyans and especially women have hope for a bright future since this lady has gone against all odds .justice lady home is the first female Chief Justice since Kenya attained her independence. All the best lady justice home.
