The race for Juja parliamentary seat has continued to pull different interests from various players. The constituency will be holding a by-election in May after the death of Francis Waititu who was serving as the area MP until his demise.
Jubilee party will be seeking to defend this seat which has attracted vocal politicians from Juja. Wife to the late MP, Susan Waititu, will be contesting for the party ticket in efforts to clinch this seat. Moses Kuria through his party, PEP, has already declared George Koimburi as the party flag bearer during this election. Ruto's UDA party said that it will not field a candidate during the Juja by-election.
Moses Kuria has triggered reactions on Facebook after he wrote a post concerning the situation in Tanzania. The controversial legislator has said that Tanzania should let Magufuli's wife, Janet, to rule in the remaining term.
The Gatundu South MP alluded, that is the thinking with some Kenyan leaders who use porridge to think instead of brains him included. With this statement, Kuria seemed to send a sarcastic message on how Kenya has been conducting by-elections where relatives of the deceased have been elected to finish the terms of their kins.
Precisely, Kuria's statement seemed to target the Juja by-election where wife to the late MP will be facing his party candidate.
Gospel musician, Muigai wa Njoroge, hilariously reacted to this post by Kuria were he said that Juja is part of his home and therefore he shall do what he want. He also warned Kuria of insulting people.
