Kenyans usually expect their elected leaders to work towards fulfilling the promises they were given during the campaign period so as to enjoy the fruits of their votes.
Some leaders have been working hard to deliver more services to the people who voted for them as they also want to leave a legacy there after.
Taking to his official social media platform, Muranga county governor Irungu Kangata has celebrated the beginning of tarmacking of urban roads in the county using their own resources rather than depending on the national government.
The governor shared a video of some tractors working on the roads as he looks forward to delivering more services to the people of Muranga County.
"For the first time ,Muranga county government is tamarcking its urban roads using its own resources. Smart city programme intended to boost Muranga urban facilities. This programme has now commenced in Muranga Town glogon Estate; Kiriaini, Kangari and Kabati." Governor Irungu Kangata wrote.
