Kenyans give mixed reactions as President What Ruto appoints former Kiambu county governor Ferdinand Waititu to a top Government Role.
The Head of State names him among others to the Nairobi Rivers Commission that he established to reclaim the rivers of Nairobi as a spine to the city's blue and green infrastructure for a better urban environment and quality of life.
The commission will be chaired by Dr. Pamela Olet and other representatives including Dr. Mumo Musuva from Nairobi City County and Grace from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
Other representatives are Eva Muhia, Elizabeth Wathuti, Carlota, Professor Elijah Biama, and Duncan Ojwang.
The President noted his appointments for the Nairobi Rivers Commission through a Gazette notice dated the 2nd of December 2022. The commission will also review the previous reports and gives recommendations for improving Nairobi Rivers.
