According to a report from DP Ruto's communications secretary, David Mugonyi, DP Ruto will be absent from the event but has already designated a representative to read his speech today, the final day of the Devolution Conference.
Mugonyi has advised that Deputy President William Ruto will be absent from the seventh conference due to his engagement in Nyandarua County, where he will continue his campaign route.
