IEBC Forced to Intervene After UDA and Azimio Agents Clash

IEBC is now receiving form 34B's from the 297 constituencies in Kenya. The process has been moving very slow, a move that forced Chebukati to make more arrangements to fasten the process. He increased the number of receiving desks from 6 to a higher number. Unfortunately, when this was being implemented, the UDA and Azimio agents went after each other after an electronic gadget was spotted on the floor. The zone was then charred with chaos and the IEBC had to quickly come up with a solution. As a result, all the occupants of the premises were asked to leave as IEBC increased the number of security agents in the area. Source

The IEBC then advised those carrying out the verification process to attend to each of the commisioners in under 15 minutes in order to conclude the process in the shortest time. Further, only those seated were allowed to remain in the premises. Zubeida Koome, a KTN journalist reports that the agents involved in the chaos went in a secret closed door meeting to peacefully resolve the matter. From 142:26:00
