Leaders President Uhuru is Set To Meet in New York

President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in New York for a two-day working visit of the US during which he is scheduled to chair a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) high-level open debate on diversity, state building and peace.

Having assumed her position as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council on 1st of January this year for a two-year period, Kenya currently holds the monthly rotational presidency of the Council for October 2021.

Further, President Kenyatta is planned to partake in the Global Leaders' significant level conversation coordinated by the International Peace Institute (IPI) as a stage for world pioneers to examine contemporary subjects.

The President will be participated in the conversation by previous Permanent Representative of Jordan to the United Nations Prince Zeid Raad Al Hussein to discuss the UN Secretary General's Common Agenda report.

The business arrangement tries to improve cooperation between Kenyan organizations, particularly the little and medium undertakings (Sme's) with their American partners in an intentional Government work to make more positions and business openings for Kenya's childhood.
