The Country is preparing for the next general elections in 2022. Leaders are busy moving around the Nation selling their manifestos to the Citizens. Majority of leaders are aiming at maintaining their positions while some are expected to move upwards to top seats. Some governors who are serving their last term have shown interest in the presidential seat. Governor Alfred Mutua of Machakos County and Kivutha Kibwana of Makueni County have declared that they will contesting for presidential position.
The top seat has attracted alot of competition amongst the top leaders. The main competitors of the race are Raila Odinga and DP William Ruto. Both of them have hope of replacing the President in the next election. The ODM leader has come out and stated clearly that incase he will be elected and fail to deliver he will resign.
"If elected President and I fail to deliver, I will resign"- Raila Odinga posted.
