According to Mwaure, the figures tallied at bomas are in favour of William Samoei Ruto. He has also urged the IEBC to work steady and follow the law.

According to a post shared by TheStarKenya news on Twitter, the deputy president William Ruto is leading. Ruto is ahead with 50.36% of the data verified in form 34B. His close competitor Raila Odinga is trailing in the second place with 48.88%. according to this data Ruto has surpassed the 50%+1 vote as required by the law. This shows that, if IEBC bases their analysis on this then the DP will be the fifth president while Raila will be in opposition.
